Rather large outage! Sorry the site has been down and up again a bit over the last few day's and mail was not working! I won't go into the gory details hear but needless to say a particular variation of linux has been dropped in favour for Ubuntu and I have spent a large amount of time sitting with Stan the ginger cat looking at the art of Bind9 configuration! It gets better! Note to self always remember the dot at the end of the domain name and named-checkzone gingercatsoftware.com is your friend! also date "+%Y%m%d" is very good for helping to format soa revision numbers! Now time for bed!
